Fletcher Graham

Funeral services for Mr. Fletcher Graham will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm. in the chapel of Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home, Natchitoches, La. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery near Chestnut, La. Visitation will begin Saturday at 9:00 am and last until service time. He was born in Creston, La, but was a life long resident of Natchitoches. He loved to hunt, fish and tell stories. He was well known for selling vegetables he grew in his garden under the bridge in downtown Natchitoches. Those left to cherish his memory include two grand-daughters, Shelly McCoy and companion Prigeon Fontenot, Jr and Kelly Broussard and husband Barton; one sister Nell Jones; two great-grandchildren, Hayley and Mark Reese; five nephews, Glenn Breedlove, Bobby Breedlove, Ronnie Jones, Johnny Jones and Ricky Jones; three nieces Barbara Gray, Marlene Breedlove, and Sharlon Graham; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Ross “Skeet”Walker Graham; parents Richard Harding and Mattie Stewart Graham; brothers Aaron and Richard A. Graham; one sister Glennie Graham Breedlove; a daughter Helen G. McCoy; and a grandson Mark McCoy. Pallbearers will be Mark Reese, Ben, Mike, Richard, Larry and Tony Breedlove. Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn and Bobby Breedlove. The Family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Manor of Natchitoches and Vermillion Healthcare of Kaplan for their care in Mr. Graham’s last years
