Avis Burr

Funeral services for Mrs. Avis Burr will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cold Water Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2008 from 5pm to 9pm. Mrs. Burr, 95, of Natchitoches passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Natchitoches. She attended church avidly and was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. A volunteer for the Baptist Student Union at Northwestern State University. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by four grandchildren Donna Shilling, Ken Bradley, Kirk Bradley, and John Rogers; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Reverend Homer Burr and by her second husband Kile Cato; her parents Tobe Lee and Azalie Kile Robbins; two daughters Jean Bradley and Elaine Rogers.
