Beverly Marie Barbo

Funeral services for Beverly Barbo will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. John Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on May 19, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Beverly Barbo, 73 years of age, passed away May 14, 2013. She was born May 13, 1940 to the late James Mervin Cooper and Elve Wilkerson Cooper in Natchitoches, LA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Beverly was always the life of the party, and she had a smile that would light up any room she walked in. She loved flowers, and always enjoyed raising them. She worked for many years in the Natchitoches Parish School cafeterias. She was a lifelong member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Natchitoches. She was truly a caring and compassionate lady, she loved to laugh and enjoy life, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by four sons, Billy Barbo and his wife Charlotte of Circleville, OH, Doug Barbo of Baton Rouge, LA, Darryl Barbo and his wife Melanie of Maryville, TN, and Tim Barbo and his wife Jeri of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Diana Dykes of Natchitoches, LA; two brothers, Barney Cooper and Dale Cooper and his wife Jo Ellen, both of Natchitoches; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Adrian Barbo; and her parents, James Mervin Cooper and Elve Wilkerson Cooper. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jerry Primm, Ricky Primm, Bruce Primm, Mike Guilliams, Rusty Guilliams, and Zach Cooper. Jeff Guilliams Jr. will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
