Myrtle Albright Richardson

Funeral services for Myrtle Albright Richardson will be held 10 AM Monday, March 31, 2008 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Don Benton officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 5 PM until 7 PM and on Monday, March 31, 2008 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Richardson, 87, of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, March 28, 2008, in C. C. Young Nursing Home at Dallas, Texas She was born in Verda, La. February 5, 1921. In four years while living in Dallas, Tx. she made a number of close and devoted friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Sherwood T. Richardson; parents, Joseph Albright and Alice White Albright. Five sisters, Lois Lester, Ruth Womack, Jessie Mae Kinman, Mary Barlow, and Mildred Albright; two brothers, Bill Albright and Carl Albright She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Howard of Winnfield, La., JoAnn Durand and husband Kenneth of Dallas, Texas, Jean Sulllivan of Baton Rouge, La., and Marcy Methvin and husband Mike of Llano, Texas; four sons, James Richardson of Homer, La., Donald Richardson and wife Brenda Kae of Winnfield, La., Mike Richardson and wife Velma of Natchitoches, La., and Raymond Richardson of Athens, Ga.; seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vergie Smith of Edmond, Okla. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Terry Joe Ramsey, Twain Durand, Clay McDonald, John Eric Richardson, Taylor Sullivan, Justin Methvin, Daniel Richardson, and Steve Melton. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Jay Bruce, Allen Otwell, Brett Ramsey, Tyler Otwell, Ashton Self, Kaleb Ramsey, and Avery Self.
