Funeral service for Ida Robertson Boswell will be 3 PM Monday, March 31, 2008 in Provencal United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Will Hassan and Rev. Paul Grace officiating. Burial will be in Provencal Cemetery at Provencal, La. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 5 PM until service time on Monday, March 31, 2008 in the church. Mrs. Boswell, 87, of Provencal, LA., died Friday, March 28, 2008, in her residence at Provencal, LA. She was a native of Provencal, LA. She was a former hostess for Town House Restaurant. She was a member of Provencal First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband , James Oren Boswell; parents, Austin Robertson and Odeal Roy Robertson;two sons, Douglas Sanders and Will Sanders; three brothers, Robert Robertson, Leo Robertson, and Leon Robertson. She is survived by her four daughters, Sharon Jennings, Cathy Boswell, Robbie Laffitte all of Provencal, LA., and Frances Ward and husband Robert of Gilmer, Texas; nine grandchildren, Chris Jennings and wife Angela, Tonya Coe and husband Ricky, Rachel Jennings, Davin Sanders of Provencal, LA, Lisa Ryder and husband Robin all of Natchitoches, La., Jennifer Hassan and husband Zachary of Dallas, Ga., Hugh Ward and wife Connie, Randall Ward all of Gilmer, TX, and Ricky Sanders and wife Rhonda of Cloutierville, LA fourteen great grandchildren, Blake Coe, Harley Hassan, Ryan Ward, Madison Raynes, Christopher Jennings, Danielle Sanders, Lauren Hassan, Dylan Jennings, Connor Ward, Karley Ward, Jake Sanders, Emily Hassan, Michael Sanders and wife Aleisha, William Sanders and wife Lacy; two great great grandchildren, B. J. Sanders and Nicholas Sanders. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris Jennings, Ricky Coe, Zachary Hassan, Robin Ryder, Hugh Ward, Randall Ward, Ricky Sanders, Davin Sanders, and Gary Robertson.
