A service to honor the life of Kenneth Crow will be 10 am Friday, June 14, 2013 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mr. Crow, 70 years of age, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Natchitoches to Merrell Lee Crow and Ruthie Lee Antley Crow on May 5, 1943. Kenneth never met a stranger and it seemed he knew everyone in town. Being a hard worker all his life, he worked for The LA Department of Transportation for many years. Always giving of himself and putting others first, he truly was a kind hearted man. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Myrtice Minter and her husband Harold of Columbia, SC; brother, James Crow Sr. and his wife Dora of Noble, LA; nieces, Mindy Acree and Maggie Freeman both of Columbia SC, Darlene Lipp of Keithville, LA, and Cynthia Freeman of Mansfiled, LA; nephews, Max Minter of Bartow, FL and Jim Crow, Jr of Fort Worth, TX.; a special aunt Katie Berry of Natchitoches and a special Uncle Floyd Antley of Haughton; 17 great nieces and nephews and 18 great great nieces and nephews.
