Leta Coburn

A service to honor the life of Leta (Goins) Coburn will be 10 am Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Mora, LA. Mrs. Coburn, 98 years of age, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 in Leesville, LA. She was born November 19, 1914 in Mora, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Crit Coburn. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Northwestern State University in 1952 and worked many years and retired as an elementary education teacher. She is survived by her son, Critt Coburn, Sr. and wife Vicki of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, Critt Coburn, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Leta Kay Gryder of Las Cruces, NM and Brenda Bustamante of Las Cruces, NM. She was blessed with 7 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of floral tributes, the family asks donations in Mrs. Leta Coburn’s name be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Harbor Hospice, 114 North 11th Street, Oakdale, LA 71463
