Charles Gwyn Raborn, 70 years of age, passed away July 13, 2013. He was born August 17, 1942 to the late Levi Columbus Raborn and Quilma Dew Raborn in Leesville, LA. Charles was a loving husband and father, and a patriot at heart. He served fifteen years of his life in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was very strong-willed, and he loved to joke and make others smile. He loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting in the fall and winter, or making his living fishing. Charles was always willing to help anyone in need, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by one daughter, Pepper Raborn Hunter and her husband John of Jonesboro, LA; one son, Jason Levi Raborn and his wife, Shelly of Metairie, LA; three grandchildren, Alexis, Tanya, and Morgan Hunter; and one brother, Randy Raborn of St. Lucie, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Raborn; and his parents, L. C. Raborn and Quilma Dew Raborn.
