James Emeal Raggio, Sr.

Funeral service for James E. Raggio, Sr. will be held at 10:45 AM Saturday, April 26, 2008 in St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Jacob Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery at Melrose, La. Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 8:30 AM until 10:15 AM with a rosary recited at 9 AM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Raggio, 64, of Natchitoches, La., died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native and lifelong resident of Cypress, La. He was a carpenter and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Raggio and Victorean Morgan Raggio; brother, Orville Raggio. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Celeste Coutee Raggio of Natchitoches, La.; four daughters, Celeste Beaudoin and husband Carl of Alexandria, La., Linda Rachal and husband John Eric, Linette Hamilton and husband Larry, Rachel Raggio and fiance' Anthony Moses all of Natchitoches, La.; two sons, James Raggio, Jr. and wife Quinnetta of Natchitoches, La. and Dale Raggio and wife Edith of Horn Lake, Ms.; twenty-one grandchildren, Quintin Raggio, Torri Beaudoin, Brandi Beaudoin, Meagan Beaudoin, Kimberly Raggio, James Raggio, III, Kristen Draigepont, Austin Raggio, Johnathan Cojocar, Larry Raggio, BriAnna Raggio, Amber Raggio, Malcolm Raggio, Dale Raggio, Jr., Parker Raggio, Peyton Raggio, Brittany Rachal, John Eric Rachal, Jr., Candace Rachal, Anthony Moses, and Aidan Moses; two great grandchildren, Makenzie LaCour and Jaelynn Raggio; three sisters, Shirley Louie and Margie Sylvia both of Alexandria, La., and Patricia Balthazar of Natchitoches, La.; two brothers, Joseph Raggio and Ronald Raggio of Natchitoches, La. Pallbearers will be John Eric Rachal, Jr., Larry Raggio, James E. Raggio III, Dale Raggio, Jr., Quintin Raggio, and Johnathan Cojocar. Cross bearer will be Malcolm Raggio. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Sylvia and Jared Bayonne.
