Vicki M Woodel

Vicki Margaret Woodel, 64 years of age, passed away July 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Provencal in Provencal, LA with Rev. Cecil Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery in Robeline, LA. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 5:00 pm until service time on Saturday at First Baptist Church of Provencal in Provencal, LA. Vicki was born on August 8, 1948 to Oscar and Annie Woodel in Merryville, LA. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved to go on family vacations. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Vicki was truly devoted to her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Family was her greatest joy in life. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by three brothers, Garland Woodel and wife Sherry of Provencal, LA; Stanley Woodel and wife Karen of Marthaville, LA; and Chris Woodel and wife Marie of Flora, LA; three sisters, Donna Jordan of Natchitoches, LA; Gayla Maroney and husband Basil of Pleasant Hill, LA; and Rhonda Hamous of Provencal, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Annie Woodel, and one sister, Glenda Woodel Stoker, brother in law, Raymond Jordan, nephew, Timothy Woodel, and great nephew, Kyle Woodel. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jeff Woodel, Mark Jordan, Brad Woodel, Brent Jordan, Rodney Stewart, Whitt Stoker, and David Hamous.
