Funeral services for Molly Vernice Brown will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Coldwater Baptist Church in Coldwater, LA with Rev. Ricky Robertson and Bro. Randy Olliff officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hagewood, LA. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 5:00 pm until service time on Monday at Coldwater Baptist Church in Coldwater, LA. Molly Brown, 73 years of age, passed away August 8, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. Molly was born September 17, 1939 to the late John McCallister and Ina Stephens McCallister in Natchitoches, LA. Molly was a loving and caring person, and a tremendous care giver. She always put others first, and had great compassion for all. She loved God and was devoted to her church. She was a tremendous cook, a loving mother, wife, and a caring grandmother. She owned her own business as a hair dresser and always worked hard to satisfy her clients. She was truly a great woman, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, John Ammons and wife Denise of Hemphill, TX and Daryl Bruno of Natchitoches, LA; three daughters, Nicki Carnes of Houston, TX, Elaine Molandes of Houston, TX, and Vicki Molandes of Nacogdoches, TX; one brother, Ronnie Mack McCallister of Bellwood, LA; three sisters, Mary Brister of Provencal, LA, Alice Guin of Campti, LA, and Lanora Jennings of Natchitoches, LA; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Brown; her son, Terry Ammons; her parents, John McCallister and Ina Mae Stephens McCallister; her sisters, Marie McCallister, Lila Mae Fitzpatrick, Bell Jordan, and Jo Fuller; and her brothers, George McCallister, John McCallister, Jr. and Luther McCallister. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Dustin LeDoux, Gabe LeDoux, Mike LeDoux, Brandon Grayson, John Randall Grayson, and Billy Fuller. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Wayne Ammons, Jr., Danny Jordan, and John R. Ammons, II.
