Harold Elwin Howard

Harold Elwin Howard, age 69, of Provencal, La., passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008, at his residence in Provencal, La. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The funeral service will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2008, with Rev. Buddy Boswell officiating. Interment will be at Rachal Cemetery in Marco, La. Mr. Howard was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Provencal Bass Club. He attended the Provencal United Pentecostal Church. He was a very kind and outgoing man, who was a friend to all he came in contact with. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jessive Edwards Howard; three step-daughters, Linda, Sandy, Nancy, and their children; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
