Dorothy Metoyer LaCour

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Dorothy Metoyer LaCour will be 11 am Saturday, September 14, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Natchitoches. Rev. John O’Brien will serve as celebrant. Her body will be laid to rest in the St. Augustine mausoleum in Isle Brevelle, LA. The family will receive friends from 8:30 am until 10:30 am on Saturday the 14th at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. LaCour, 87 years of age passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Natchitoches, LA. She was born to the late Simeon and Florestine Dupree Metoyer on March 4, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake LaCour, Jr.; seven siblings, Eunice Rachal, Theresa Metoyer, Rosalie Llorens, Anthony “Tony” Metoyer, Chester Metoyer, Ella Mae Metoyer, and Simeon Metoyer, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory two Godchildren, Mary Ann Llorens White and Joseph Metoyer; as well as 26 nieces and nephews.
