Lucille LaCaze Zanetti

A graveside service to honor Mrs. Lucille Zanetti will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Fern Park Cemetery with Rev. Ryan Humphries serving as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7 pm at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 pm to conclude the visitation. Mrs. Zanetti, 93 years of age, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. She was born February 22, 1920 to Sam and Marie LaCaze in Montrose, LA. She is survived by her 2nd husband, Michael Zanetti; her children, Sam Vanni and his wife Donna and Ronald Vanni and his wife Bonnie; grandchildren Jay Sims and his wife Linda, Greg Vanni, Nick Vanni; great grandchildren, Samantha Sims; step children, James Zanetti and Wife Naoma, Cathie Quade, Sylvia Roberts and her husband Greg, Connie Mytty and her husband Marvin; step grandchildren, Sarah Roberts, Scottie Roberts, Clifton Roberts, and Michael Zanetti and numerous other great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Julio Vanni and a daughter, Betty Sims as well as four siblings.
