Mary Elizabeth Glass

Mary Elizabeth Brossette Glass, age 62, of Gorum, La., passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the hospital in Natchitoches, La. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2008. A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2008 during the visitation. The funeral service will be at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Gorum, La. at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008, with Rev. Kurian Zachariah officiating. Interment will be at Gorum Cemetery in Gorum, La. Mary was a very loving and caring person. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an outgoing person, one who would talk to friends and family as the hours passed by. She loved to read, raise flowers, and cook. She was a school bus driver in Jefferson Parish for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Brossette and Mary Troquille Brossette; and one grandchild, Blake Glass. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Ray Glass; one son, Kenneth Roy Glass and wife Cathy of Gorum, La.; two grandchildren, Tatiana Coyne of Gorum, La. and Raynell Arabie and husband Christopher of Marrero, La.; two great grandchildren, Logan Arabie and Kent Arabie; one aunt, Gertrude Rachal of Gorum, La.; and two uncles, Albert Troquille and wife Maybelle of Gorum, LA and James Ellis Troquille of Monroe, La.
