Kathryn Bordelon Guillet

A mass of Christian burial for Kathryn "Kitty" Bordelon Guillet will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches, LA with Fr. Ryan Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm during the visitation. Kathryn Guillet, 88 years of age, passed away on October 15, 2013 in The Woodlands, TX. She was born to Adele and Adelma Bordelon on November 27, 1924 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Kitty was a loving, compassionate mother and grandmother with a zest for life. Lord bless and keep her, this person you fashioned and filled with qualities that have meant so much to her family and so many others. Lord, thank you for our Kitty. She is preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings: Forrest Bordelon, Verdie Spillman, Elmore Bordelon, Alden Bordelon, Lillie Wafer, Hazel Lenz, Alice Noone. She is survived by eight children, Gaylon Quinn, Barry Guillet, Bruce Guillet, Kenneth Guillet, June Hill, Cathy Maes, Wendy Mathews, and Susan Clark; fifteen grandchildren, Brian Quinn, Chris Guillet, David Guillet, Andy Guillet, Vince Guillet, Chantal Gomez, Daniel Gomez, Elishah Gomez, Caleb Gomez, Havilah Beebe, Heather Gomez, Douglas Maes, Evan Maes, Lauren Stephens and Kathryn Mathews; and seventeen great grandchildren.
