Larry Miller Grant

A graveside service to honor the life of Larry Grant will be 10 am Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. Father John O’Brien will serve as celebrant. Mr. Larry Miller Grant, 71 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Alexandria, LA. He was born July 21, 1942 to John William Grant and Dorothy (Harmon) Grant in Bonnieville, KY. He proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for many years in the construction industry and was a truck driver later in life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Damon Miller Grant and his wife Crystal of Poland, LA and Stacey Lynn Grant and his wife Pamela of Natchitoches; daughters, Cheryl Grant Collins and Pamela L. Grant both of Natchitoches. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Christopher Collins, Bryan Grant, Brandi Coutee, Jordyn Grant and Taylor Grant and one great grandchild, Nevaeh Lynn Smith; and extended family members, Eldred Conley, Jr. and Michael Lynn Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Grant and siblings, Sue Grant Brooks, Donald Grant, Bobby Grant, and Shane Grant.
