Patricia Mary Troquille Rude

Memorial services for Patricia Mary Troquille Rude will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on November 2, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. She will be returned to England for burial with her family. Patricia Rude, 74 years of age, passed away October 28, 2013. Patricia was born September 26, 1939 to the late Fred and Hilda Soden in Leicester, England. She was the youngest of three children. After marrying a USAF soldier, Newton Troquille of Gorum, Louisiana, she came to live here in the US. Patricia worked hard to raise three girls of her own in a foreign culture, apart from that which she had previously and her family that she grew up with. Her bubbly personality, kindness and generosity won the admiration and love of all she met. Her intelligence helped her excel in the work she did as a seamstress where she was awarded and promoted for her creation of superior methods to accomplish the work goals her company set forth. Our memories of our mother leave an imprint of one who gave all she had for the happiness and well-being of those around her. We honor her love and memory through our attempts to continue with that love and kindness to others that she so aptly taught. She is survived by one sister Mavis Pryor or Leicester England; 2 daughters, Patricia Couvillion of Many, and Donna Smith of Natchitoches, her grandchildren Brandon Troquille, Missy Sellers, Marc Couvillion, Corey Mims, and Rachel Smith, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hilda Soden,of Leicester England one sister Flo Freeman,of Leicester England, her first husband Newton Troquille of Natchitoches, her second husband Kenny Rude of Many, and one daughter Kimberly Troquille of Many, La.
