Billy Royce Williford, Sr.

Billy Royce Williford, Sr., 75, of Campti, LA, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, in his residence at Campti, LA. Mr. Williford was born and grew up in southeast Texas. He enjoyed fishing and trying to help others in AA. After retiring from the federal prison system he moved to Campti where he did general handyman work and was generally liked by most everyone he met. He was preceded in death by one son, Billy Royce Williford, Jr.; parents, Wade Thomas Williford and Lucy McNeely Williford; brother, Clarence Ray Williford; and several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is survived by two sons, Jerry Williford and his wife Molly of Shreveport, LA and Gregory Williford and wife Kathy of San Antonio, TX; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
