Maggie Bush

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Maggie Bush will be held at 6 pm Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the City of Refuge Church in Campti, LA with Pastor Roland Smith officiating. Committal services will be held at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Cemetery at 10 am Monday, November 11, 2013 under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until services at the church on Sunday. Mrs. Bush, 84 years of age and a resident of Campti, La, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013. She was born February 19, 1929 to Lawrence and Louvena (Howard) Coutee in Campti, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her children, Jimmy Bush and Rosemary Bush. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Alvin Bush, Sr.; her children, Joe Bush, Alvin Bush, Jr., Altha Bush, R.P. Coutee, Earl Coutee, Harmon Bush, Mary Bush, Lucy Telsee, Louvena Vanzant, and Mattie Bush. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her grandsons are honored to serve as pallbearers.
