Thomas "Bubba" DuBois

A service to honor the life of Thomas “Bubba” DuBois will be 1 pm Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Union Hill Baptist Church near Verda, LA with Bro. Chuck LaCroix officiating. Interment, with Masonic Rights, will follow at Montgomery Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends after 7 pm on Wednesday, November 12th at Union Hill Baptist Church located at 16278 Louisiana Hwy 34, Montgomery, LA 71454. Visitation will last until service time on Thursday. Bubba, 44 years of age and a resident of LaPlace, LA., passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2013. He was born November 16, 1968 to Huey and Sybil DuBois in Montgomery, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Huey DuBois and a nephew, Angel Clements. Bubba was a proud Masonic member of the Curtis T. Hines Lodge # 317 in Tioga, LA. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Devin DuBois of LaPlace and Damian DuBois of Reserve; his spouse, Selena Horton of Montgomery; mother, Sybil DuBois Matt and her husband Zana of LaPlace; sisters, Tasha DuBois of Reserve and Tina Sander and her husband Ronald of LaPlace; nephews, Darrin Sander and his wife Stevie of Denham Springs, Ryan Sander and his fiance' Jesseca of LaPlace and Hayden Clements of Reserve. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Devin DuBois, Darrin Sander, Ryan Sander, Ronald Sander, Ronnie Gentry, Hayden Clements, Damian DuBois and Alen “Junior” Coolman, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerome Self and Robert Fredieu.
