Jesse Glinn Carroll

Funeral service for Jesse G. Carroll will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on December 9, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA. Jesse Carroll, 76 years of age, passed away December 6, 2013. Jesse was born December 01, 1937 in Marthaville, LA. He was a graduate of Marthaville High School and served four years in the United States Navy. Mr. Carroll spent thirty-seven years working for the Boeing Company before returning to Natchitoches. Mr. Carroll was an avid woodworker and a life long aviation enthusiast. He is survived by his wife Laura Carroll, his sons, William Carroll and wife Sherry and Edward Carroll; his daughter, Katherine Brunson and husband Joe; his grandchildren, Laurie Hall and husband Jason, Micki Martin and husband Marcus, Jesse Rook, Nichelle Hayes, Travis Carroll and wife Delia, Kirsten Terry and husband Daniel, Angela Carroll, Zachary Carroll, Jennifer Carroll, Ashley Gaston and husband Wesley; twenty-one great grandchildren; his sisters, Virginia Spaulding and husband Ralph, Sue Willis, and Charlotte Beard; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Talmadge Carroll and Carrie Ethel Tatum Carroll; his brothers Talmadge Ray Carroll, Billy Wayne Carroll, Arthur Monroe Carroll; as well as his sisters, Erma Jean Carroll Thorne and Mable Jean Carroll Marriot. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joey Carroll, Travis Carroll, Zachary Carroll, Hunter Hall, Jason Hall, and Jesse Rook. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Andrews, Jerome Henson, Gary McDonald, and Ralph Spaulding. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Susan Kemp; Dr. Manish Dhawan; the staff of Synergy, especially Traci Russell; Bernie Babs; and our beloved granddaughter, Laurie Hall, for her medical loving care.
