Ruby Lee (Gongre) Duraso

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruby Duraso will be 10 am Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Blanchard St. Denis. Mrs. Duraso, 78 years of age, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013. She was born April 5, 1935 to Roy and Annie LaCour Gongre in Natchitoches. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Roy Duraso of Natchitoches; daughter, Vickie Wellbrock and husband Gary of New Iberia; son, Kevin Duraso and wife Patricia of Flora; grandchildren, Aimee Guillory and husband Scott of Bossier City, Jerry Duraso of Flora, Jason Wellbrock and wife Lainey of New Iberia and Rachel Wellbrock of New Iberia; brother, Donald Gongre of Natchitoches as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Darrell Gongre, Dan Gongre, Delbert Gongre, Aaron Odom, Bo Gongre, Scott Guillory, Jerry Duraso and Randy Gongre.
