James Paul McTyre, Sr.

James Paul McTyre, Sr., 72, of Natchitoches, LA passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at his home on Cades Camp Road. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mack and Cordelia McTyre; his sister, Maxine Laurent; and his brothers, Mackie Joe Mctyre, T.C. and Bryant Williamson. He is survived by his wife, Lola McTyre; his sons, J.P. McTyre, Jr., and Trent McTyre and wife Janet; his daughter, Paula Wilt; his grandsons, Joshua, Jonathan, Christopher, and Nicholas; and many nieces and nephews. Paul retired from the city of Natchitoches Utility Department after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A graveside service will be held at L.C. Weaver Cemetery, in Campti, LA at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 27, 2014.
