David Wayne Alford

A vigil service to honor the life of David Wayne Alford will be 11 am Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends form 9 am until service time on Tuesday the 28th at Blanchard St. Denis. David, 43 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 in Natchitoches. He was born September 5, 1970 to Robert L. Alford and Freda Place Alford in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his father; and brothers, Joseph Leon “Bubba” Alford and Steven Procell. He is survived by his wife Staci; his children, Cody, Kristen, Kyllee and Caeden; his mother, Freda Alford of Natchitoches, sister, Tanya Hernandez and her husband Javier Padillo of Center, TX; brother, Robert P. Alford and his wife Gail of Alvin, TX. He was blessed with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and some very close friends, Jason Moore, Mike Wallace, Daniel Desoto, Robert Davis, Wendell Moore, and Barry “Jo Jo” Johnson. In lieu of floral contributions, the family requests donations be made to help with expenses incurred as a result of his unexpected death.
