Pauline Miley Jones

Mrs. Pauline Miley Jones was born April 2, 1928 near Castor, LA to Ira S. Miley and Georgia Watts Miley. She passed away on March 26, 2014 at her residence in Ferriday, LA. She held a Master’s degree in Education from Louisiana Normal College, present day Northwestern State University. She dedicated her life to educating young people and making a difference in her student’s lives. She enjoyed playing card games with family members and was quite a good player. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Earl Jones; and a brother, Harry L. Miley; as well as extended family members who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Earl Jones, Jr. and her parents. A service to remember a life well lived for Mrs. Pauline Miley Jones will be 10 am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches.
