Funeral service for Betty Jane Weaver will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at United Baptist Church in Campti, LA with Rev. Olan McLaren, Rev. David Allen, and Rev. Mike Honzell officiating. Interment will follow at L.C. Weaver Cemetery in Campti, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on March 31, 2014 at United Baptist Church in Campti, LA. Betty Weaver, 92 years of age, passed away March 30, 2014. Betty was born October 16, 1921 in Shreveport, LA.  She was raised in Creston, LA until she married L.C. Weaver. She then moved to Campti, LA and was a resident there for the remainder of her life. She lived a full life, and loved to be around people. She was a faithful member of the Campti Baptist Church for 36 years, where she taught the youngest Sunday School Class. She had a great sense of humor, was a tremendous cook, and loved to fish. She loved and was loved by her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Nell Weaver Butts and husband Ray of Shreveport, LA; her son, Charles Thomas Weaver and wife Linda of Creston, LA; four grandchildren, Chris A Weaver, Sr., Gayla Easom, Barry Weaver, and Melinda Sullivan; fifteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, L.C. Weaver; her parents, Guy and May Lazuras; and one grandchild, Connie Sue Butts. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Chris Weaver, Sr., Barry Weaver, John Easom, Tracy Sullivan, Joey Ford, and Wyatt Sullivan.    Honorary pallbearers will be Louie Bernard, Robert Weaver, Bob Thomas, Don Kelly, Ronnie Rogers, and J.W. Vercher.
