Graveside services for Ethel Weaver will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev Joshua Currie officiating. Interment will follow at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday April 06, 2014 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Ethel Weaver, 89 years of age, passed away April 3, 2014. Ethel was born February 17, 1925 in Cypress, LA.  She was friendly, had a strongwill, and loved to cook. She worked for 27 years as a nurse at Natchitoches Parish Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA for over 50 years, where she faithfully attended Grace Sunday School Class. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her close friends at Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA; and her sitters, Rebecca Brister, Leslie Mackey, Debra Kyle, and Linda Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Weaver, Sr; her son, Herman Lee Weaver, Jr.; and her parents, Lawrence Rachal and Julia Lemoine Rachal. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA. Donations may be made in her memory to the Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches,LA.
