Mary Eston Williams

Funeral service for Ms. Mary Eston Williams will be 2 pm Friday, April 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Provencal with Bro. Bruce Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Provencal, LA.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches and again on Friday the 18th at First Baptist Church of Provencal from 1 pm until service time. Ms. Williams, 75 years of age and a resident of Provencal, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 in Natchitoches.  She was born September 30, 1938 in Provencal, LA to the late Floyd and Ollie (Moore) Williams.  She was a 1956 graduate of Provencal High School and earned her Bachelor and Masters Degree in Education from Northwestern State University.  She taught many years in the Natchitoches Parish School system.  She is survived by her sister, Wanda Gamble, four nieces, ten great nieces, four great nephews, three great-great nieces and four great-great nephews.  She left to cherish her memory many friends and neighbors in the Provencal and Natchitoches area.  Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Glen Gleason, Clint Lonadier, Arthur Thompson , John Gleason, Garland Woodel, Brad Woodel, and Carson Custis. The family wishes to “thank” Samantha Anthony, Sabrina Metoyer, Rachal Thompson, Pam Evans and Nell Arterberry for the special care given during such a difficult time.
