Funeral services for Linda Kaye Bruce will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Doug De Graffenreid officiating. Interment will follow at Goldonna Cemetery in Goldonna, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on April 21, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Linda Bruce, 65 years of age, passed away April 18, 2014. She was born October 19, 1948 in Epps, LA. She was a loving mother, wife and friend. Linda love to cook and plant in the garden. She was a strong woman with a strong will and will always be loved very much. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. She is survived by her husband, Rod Bruce of Natchitoches, LA; her son, James W. Hatfield and wife Sarah of Shreveport, LA; her daughter, Sherri Henry and husband Daryl of Pollock, LA; her step-sons, Chad Aaron Bruce of Tomball, TX and Marcus Dewayne Bruce and wife Debbie of Tomball, TX; three grandchildren, Harper Hatfield, Austin Henry, and Jacqueline Bruce; one sister, Sue McClamrock and husband Dave of Shreveport, LA; and one brother, Dennis Edwards and wife Pam of Blanchard, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Edwards and Dora Broom Bickham.
