Funeral services for Enez Marie Stevens will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Ellis Newman officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on April 24, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Enez Stevens, 86 years of age of Natchitoches, LA, passed away April 21, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Enez was born August 29, 1927 in Cottonport, LA.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a sweet and compassionate lady, was a tremendous cook, and always was willing to help her family and friends. She was a lifetime member of the College Avenue United Methodist Church and a longtime employee of Dr.'s Cook and Campbell medical practice. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Henry Stevens and his wife Kaye of Shreveport, LA; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Stevens and Brady Stevens of Shreveport, LA; one sister, Jewel Ann Shaw of Phoenix, AZ; and two brothers L.J. Armand of Lake Charles, LA and William Armand of Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Stevens; her parents, Henry Robert Armand and Emeline Perot; and one brother, Selcer Armand. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Brady Stevens, Ronald Stevens, Kenneth Stevens, Wayne Choate, and Chris Maggio.Herbert Brooks will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
