Marie Moore Walker

Funeral service for Marie Moore Walker will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Spanish Lake, LA with Rev. Antony Aelavanthara officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Spanish Lake Community, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on May 30, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Marie, 66 years of age, passed away May 28, 2014. She was born November 23, 1947 in Robeline, LA. She loved her family tremendously and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a lifetime member and Eucharist Minister at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Spanish Lake. Marie was always hospitable to everyone, and was affectionately known as "Aunt B" by those who knew her best. She loved to shop, cook, and care for her family, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by two daughters, Miranda Nolley and husband, Gary of Natchitoches, LA and Becky Bozeman and husband Truly of Pleasant Hill, LA; one son, Kenneth Walker, Jr. of Robeline, LA; four grandchildren, Wynce Nolley, Coy Nolley, Tyler Walker, and Truly Bozeman, IV; her sisters, Lucille Rikard and Mary Crow, both of Spanish Lake, LA; and her brothers, George Moore of Eros, LA and Johnny Moore of Spanish Lake, LA. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Walker, Sr.; her parents, Peter Moore and Mae Breedlove Moore; and one sister, Nelly Sue Hightower. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Wynce Nolley, Coy Nolley, Tyler Walker, Truly Bozeman, Gary Nolley, and Chris Nugent. Truly Bozeman, IV will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family would like to thank the staff at Christus-Coushatta Hospital for all of their hard work and care.
