William 'Bill' Fredieu

Funeral service for William 'Bill' Fredieu will be held 10 AM Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Church of Nativity with Rev. Wade DeCosta officiating. Burial will be in Campti Catholic Cemetery in Campti, La. Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2008 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Fredieu, 77, of Campti, La., died Wednesday, August 6, 2008, in his residence at Campti, La. He was a native and lifelong resident of Campti, La. He was a retired foreman for Union Seeding and Sodding Contractors. He was a member of Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Irby Fredieu; one brother, Bobby Fredieu; one sister-Margie Reiser; parents, Edward Fredieu and Mena Maricelli Fredieu. He is survived by two daughters, Robbie Moss and husband Tracy of Provencal, La. and Janetta Hubbard and husband Gill of Natchitoches, La.; three sons, Tony Fredieu, Billy Fredieu and wife Cindy, David Fredieu and wife Michelle all of Campti, La.; eighteen grandchildren, Cristy Walker, Stuart Fredieu and wife Misty, Chad Fredieu, Rusty Moss and wife Jessica, Charli Cox and husband Jeff, Haley Giddings and husband Johnny, Brad Crow, B. J. Fredieu, Angel Crow, Cody Fredieu and wife Jaci, Cally Fredieu, Caitlyn Fredieu, Melanie Vailes and husband Jason, Shane Hubbard, Chase Hubbard, Brandi Evans, Shannon Evans, and Abby Hubbard; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ann Gongre of Dickinson, Texas, Francis Michael of Natchitoches, La. and Betty Morgan of Natchitoches, La. Pallbearers will be Ronald Dale Smith, David Gallien, Jerry Gallien, Dewayne Weaver, Peyton Gilcrease, and Richard Gongre. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Dalton, Sam John Brown, Boots Garland, Buddy Coutee, and J. T. Frame. The family of Mr. Fredieu would like to extend a special thanks to Hope Hospice of Natchitoches, his daughter-in-law, Cindy Fredieu for her love and unselfish devotion to her father-in-law during his illness
