Celebration service for Stephen Raymon Gregg will be 2 PM Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Barbara Driscoll and Rev. Dwight St. Andre officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Gregg 62, of Shreveport, La., died Thursday, August 7, 2008, in his residence at Shreveport, La. after a lengthy illness. Mr. Gregg was a native of Natchitoches, La. and was a retired mechanical engineer. Mr. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents, Raymon Gregg and Floy Gregg. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, his high school sweetheart, Lana Hampton Gregg of Shreveport, La.; one daughter, Wendy Harth and husband Mike of Phoenixville, Pa.; one son, Dennis Gregg and wife Edie of Jasper, Ga.; step daughter, Tamara Wright of Memphis, Tn.; five grandchildren, Ryan Harth, Lauren Harth, Christopher Harth, Miles Gregg, and Ella Gregg; his constant four-legged companion, Maddie; aunt, Jean St. Andre and husband Rev. Dwight St. Andre of Natchitoches, La.; two sisters-in-law, Linda Hampton Hyams and husband Denny and Barbara Hampton Driscoll all of Shreveport, La.; mother-in-law, Frances Hampton Davis of Shreveport, La. Pallbearers will be Todd Hampton, Johnny Manning, Don McDuffie, Denny Hyams, Robert Fielder, and Kenny Stevens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Alzheimer Association, American Heart Association, or to charity of the donors choice.
