Charles Edward Moody, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Charles Edward Moody, Jr. at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Melrose, LA with Fr. Thomas Paul officiating. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Melrose, LA. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on June 10, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Melrose, LA. Charles Edward Moody Jr., 45 years of age, joined heaven on Saturday June 7, 2014. Charles was born September 29, 1968 in Pineville, Louisiana to Marie (Coutee) Moody and the late Charles Edward Moody Sr. Charles grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana and graduated from Natchitoches Central High School class of 1986. Charles married the love of his life, Claudine Moody on June 25, 1993. Charles was employed at Northwestern State University for 19 years until his death. Charles was a beloved person, he loved spending time with family, friends, and he loved hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 20 years, Claudine Moody of Natchitoches, LA, his loving children, Crystal McDaniel and her fiancé, LaTron Mitchell of Leesville, LA, LaKeydra Raymond of Natchitoches, LA, and Orlando and Shasta Moody of Campti, LA; his two loving brothers, Charles "Robert" Moody of Natchez, LA and Michael and Samantha Moody of Natchitoches, LA; his loving sisters, Chenelle Toussaint of Atlanta, GA, Suzette Moody of Houston, TX, and Jessica, Demeka, and Christa Daniels of Natchitoches, LA; his loving granddaughters, Ciarrah Godbolt, Katie Strickland, and Somer "Rayne" Moody; also left to mourn are a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
