Betty Anne Wilson

Betty Anne Wilson, 84 years of age, passed away June 12, 2014 in Natchitoches, LA. Betty was born October 4, 1929 in Houston, TX. She was a loving mother and grandmother, was always ready to cook for and care for her family, and made friends wherever she lived. She was a member of the Eastern Star, at one time serving as Worthy Matron of the Cypress Chapter, and was a member of the Arabian Shrine Temple with her husband. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Lenwood John Wilson of Houston, TX; three daughters, Sharon Smelley of Hempstead, TX, Karen Davis of Waller, TX, and Marshean Johnston of Logansport, LA; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Wilson; her parents, Lenwood John Cochrane and Anne Pearl Yarbrough; and one brother, Lenwood John Cochrane, II. A memorial service will be held at a later time in Houston, TX.
