Betty J. Harvey

A Catholic Vigil service for Mrs. Betty Joyce Harvey will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Chapel, Natchitoches, LA with Father John Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Blanchard St. Denis. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7 pm during the visitation on the 2nd. Mrs. Harvey, 66, was born November 9, 1947 in Natchitoches, LA and passed from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her residence in Cloutierville, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Lela Mae Vercher. She is survived by her two daughters, Felicia Harvey (Paul Tynes) of Natchitoches and Stephanie Ledet (James) of Alexandria, LA; two brothers Eugene Vercher and Robert Vercher (Parilee) both of Cloutierville, LA; a nephew who was like a son, Robert Kenneth Vercher (Casey); Five grand-children, Skylar Harvey, Jonathan Harvey, Caitlin Salard, John Michael Salard, and Lacey Mayrand; and also an extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. during visitation. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Harvey, Gary Gray, Lonzo Harvey, Joel Harvey, Paul Tynes, James Ledet, Michael Tynes and Phillip Winston.
