Funeral service for Billy Todd Voss will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel in Natchitoches, La. with Rev. David McLean and Rev. Tony Moran officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2008 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home.
Billy Todd Voss, 38, of Natchitoches, La., died Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Christus Schumpert Health System in Shreveport, La.
He was a native of Shreveport, La. He was a graduate of Oak Terrace School in 1992. Billy Todd was a gold medal winner in the district and state divisions, of The Special Olympics. Through his many accomplishments, he worked as a greeter for Bridgewood Farms in Conroe, Tx and New Horizons in New Caney, Tx. Billy Todd enjoyed rodeos, fishing, four-wheeler riding and most of all sharing laughter with family and friends. Billy Todd was a member and usher of Victory Assembly Of God at Natchitoches, La. where he enjoyed singing gospel music. He helped with neighborhood watches in the areas he lived by listening to CB radio's and scanners.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Ebert; paternal grandfather, Clarence Ollie Voss, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Reba Daily Voss.
He is survived by his parents, Clarence Voss, Jr. and his wife Betty of Vivian, La. and Deborah Ebert Voss of Natchitoches, La.; two sisters, Angela Donalson and husband Ryan of Republic, Mo. and Betty Jean Walker of Atlanta, Tx.; three brothers, Jeff Collins of Mooringsport, La., John Collins and wife Melissa of Hosston, La., and Chuck Collins and wife Sherry of Vivian, La.; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Cutright Ebert of Natchitoches, La.; paternal grandmother, Sarah Tunstall of Vivian, La.; two uncles, Grady Ebert of Natchitoches, La. and Tom Voss and wife Mary of Ringgold, La.; one aunt, Nancy Robertson of Shreveport, La.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Collins, John Collins, Chuck Collins, Steve Sasser, Daniel Ebert Dan Fedrick, Dr. Paul Withey, and Wade Ebert.
Honorary pallbearer will be Bubba.
