Oneitha Chelette Moore

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Old River Rd. Rev. Thomas Paul will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery on Old River Rd. Mrs. Oneitha Chelette Moore, age 92, was born March 20, 1922 in Provencal, LA and later moved to San Diego, California. Mrs. Moore departed from this life in San Diego, California on July 22, 2014. Mrs. Moore was born to her parents Mr. and Mrs. Prentice Landrum of Provencal, LA and later married her husband, David Chelette, who precedes her in death. She was an example to all those who knew her. She loved her family and her children. She loved to play bingo. She will be missed by her family and friends. She has finally made it back home where she will be laid to rest.
