L.G. Conley

Graveside service for Mr. Lafayette George “L.G.” Conley will be at 3 pm Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at L.C. Weaver Cemetery in Campti. LA. Rev. Drew Rosse, Pastor of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Natchitoches, will serve as celebrant. L.G. will be laid to rest next to his wife Elaine Conley, who passed away June 30, 1998. L.G. was born November 7, 1923 to Jim and Annie Conley in Chestnut, LA. He passed away on August 29, 2014 at the age of 90 in Natchitoches, LA. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. During his working years, he was a carpenter and electrician for Aerospace Corporation. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his two sons, David Conley and his wife Debbie of Kapowsin, WA and Lynn Conley of Valencia, CA; two granddaughters, Debbie O’Sullivan and Lisa Conley both of Valencia, CA; a sister, Louise Snead of Shreveport; a brother, Allen T. Conley of Natchitoches; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
