Paul Brumley, 56 years of age, passed away October 7, 2014. He was born November 20, 1957 in Montgomery, LA. He was a "man's man": and outdoors man to the core, but a family man most of all. His greatest accomplishment in life were his precious wife, whom he spoiled to the best of his ability, and his two wonderful children. And then his grandson, Lincoln, arrived and stole his heart all over again. His family was everything to him. He was the best person to be around, and looked for every opportunity to laugh, joke, and have fun.
Paul was a hard worker, putting in almost 40 years with Anadarko, (formally Kerr McGee Corp.), where he obtained the position as Foreman. He loved to travel with his family, taking them on vacation as often as he could; and, second only to his family, he loved to hunt and fish.
Everyone who knew him loved him, he cared for all, he loved God, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janelle Brumley of Montgomery, LA; his two children, Christopher Brumley and his wife Lindsay of Natchitoches, LA and Jennifer Brumley of Natchitoches, LA; one wonderful grandson, Lincoln Brumley; one sister, Julia Woodward and husband Alvin of Powder River, WY; three brothers, Jack Brumley, Jr. and wife Ruth of Montgomery, LA, Greg Brumley and wife Marydell of Montgomery, LA, and Damian Brumley of Verda, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Brumley, Sr. and Nellie Self Brumley; and one sister, Nona Wise.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be John Lewis, Brandon Brumley, Cameron James, Jess Courtright, Brad Kerrigan, and Billy Graves.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Lewis, Jack Brumley, Jr., Greg Brumley, Damian Brumley, David Lonadier, Eugene Rhoden, Scott James, Matt Rhoden, Alvin Woodard, James Lonadier, Jr., and Murray Landry.
