William "Bill" McCauslin

Funeral service for William “Bill” McCauslin will be at 10 am Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery near Robeline, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, October 22nd at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Bill, age 94 and a resident of Natchitoches passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in Natchitoches. He was born January 8, 1920 to Alan and Ella (Jordan) McCauslin in Natchitoches Parish. He worked many years as a mill operator. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvie Jenkins McCauslin; his parents, Alan and Ella McCauslin; a great grandson, Christopher Brent Sawyer; his siblings, Johnny McCauslin, Roy McCauslin; Vernie Bynog, Lorie Worley, and Evie Mae Withers. He is survived by his son, Billy McCauslin and his wife Linda of Natchitoches; 3 grandchildren, Darren McCauslin and his wife Cathy, Janet McCauslin Vienne and her husband David, and Stacy McCauslin; and 6 great grandchildren, Casey McCauslin, Austin McCauslin, Catie McCauslin, Garrett Vienne, Lauren Vienne and Brandon McCauslin. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Darren McCauslin, Stacy McCauslin, Garrett Vienne, Brandon McCauslin, Austin McCauslin and Casey McCauslin. Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Broadway. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehab and Hospice of Natchitoches for the care given to our father, grandfather and great grandfather.
