Funeral services for Leo Joseph Abraham, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Minor Baslica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, LA with Father Ryan Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm on December 4, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Leo Abraham, Jr., 65 years of age, passed away December 1, 2014. He was born March 6, 1949 to the late Leo Joseph Abraham, Sr. and Elma Clanan Abraham in Mansfield, LA. He was a kind hearted and compassionate man who had a deep love for God and family. He was a patient and loving husband and father, and was always willing to help anyone in need. He never said no. He was always very respectful of everyone and had a very meek spirit. As stated previously, he loved God and his church, The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. There, he served as an Eucharistic Minister, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was always willing to serve, and would help every Wednesday at the K.O.C. Hall with BINGO. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was survived by his loving wife, Eugenia "Sally" Jordan Abraham of Robeline, LA; his sons, Christopher Abraham and fiance Melissa of Fort Smith, AR and John Morris and wife Kristen of Coushatta, LA; his daughters, Brandy Abraham of Winnsboro, KS, Teresa Green of Fort Worth, TX, and Debbie Green of Arlington, TX; seven grandchildren; and nine siblings, Louis Abraham and wife Sherry of Edgewood, NM, Anita Maricelli and husband Rod of Shreveport, LA, James Abraham and wife Dianne of Cary, NC, Laura Gorum of Natchitoches, LA, Raymond Abraham and wife Beverly of Minden, LA, John Abraham and wife Janis of Natchitoches, LA, David Abraham and wife Beth of San Antonio, TX, Linda Folden and husband Dewayne of Winnfield, LA, and Dean Abraham of San Antonio, TX; He was preceded in death by his parents Leo Joseph Abraham, Sr. and Elma Clanan Abraham. Pallbearers will be his brothers James Abraham, Louis Abraham, Raymond Abraham, John Abraham, David Abraham, and Dean Abraham. Honorary pallbearers will be Jarrod Abraham and Jayden Morris.
