Jerry Wade "Buddy" Hall

Funeral services for Jerry Wade Hall will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Interment will follow at New Cedron Cemetery in Vowells Mill, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on December 7, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Jerry “Buddy” Hall, 65 years of age, passed away December 1, 2014. He was born October 13, 1949 in Natchitoches, LA. Buddy was a "man's man". He was never afraid to speak what was on his mind, and although he may not sugar coat what he said, his often hard exterior hid a kind heart. If he was hard on you, it was only to try to make you better than what you were. He was without a doubt a hard worker, building several commercial buildings throughout his career. He was a giant in his family's eyes. He made it a point to communicate with them often, and though he may not have spoken the words, they knew he loved them and was very proud of them. He made it a point not to take life too seriously, and always loved to pick and have a good time. If he was picking at you, you knew he liked you. He had a colorful personality, and if you ever met him, you would never forget him. He will be missed. He is survived by his children, Dennis Jason Hall and his Fiance Beth Rowell of Natchitoches, LA, Kristene Hall Cox and husband Claude Cox of Houston, TX, Bronson Fennel of Memphis, TN, and Cameron Fennel of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren, Kirsten Diane Hall, Nelson Wade Hall, Madison Page Rowell, Baylie Rowell, Caleb Rowell, Jaxon Rowell, McKenzie Fennel, and Landon Fennel; his great grandchildren, Lilly Marie Hall and Jason Theron Hall; his sisters, Linda Debartalo-Lickier, Sandra Dragg, Melva Singletary, and Geraldine Foster; and his brother, Kenneth Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Hall and Avery Rhodes Hall; his sister, Mildred Merrel; and his brother, R.D. Hall.
