A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Ednest Bayonne will be at 11 am Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Cloutierville, LA. Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9am until the time of service at the church on the 13th. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 am.
Ednest Bayonne was born to Victor and Mary Monette Bayonne on May 25, 1924 in Cloutierville Louisiana. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Cloutierville.
In 1949, he married Rosa M. Coutee of Cloutierville and to the union 5 children were born, Peggy M. Talmore (Columbia (d)), John W. Bayonne, (Barbara (dec.)), Ronald G. Bayonne, Brenda J. Chamberlain, James L. Bayonne (Jeanie).
Ednest was a rancher and farmer who loved to break and train horses. He was a hard worker, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He never met a stranger always willing to help anyone. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 65 years, Rosa M. Bayonne of Cloutierville, his children, Peggy Marie Talmore (Columbia) (d), John Wayne Bayonne (Barbara) (dec), Ronald Gene Bayonne, Brenda Joyce Chamberlain, James “Leslie” Bayonne (Jeanie) and his grandchildren, Nichelei, Gerriell, Kierra, John Jr. (Tracy); Brent (Leslie); Jared (Tonya); Ronald, Quinton, Derrick (Jeri) and great grandchildren, Atreanna, Khyah, Anissa, Reagan, John III, Brent II, Lucas, Taylor, Jayla
He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Mary Bayonne, four brothers – Arthur, Joseph, Lawrence & Victor Jr. along with two sisters – Maggie and Addie. Those left to cherish his memory include Alma Rachal, Mathilde Boyd and Laverne Bayonne.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Brent Bayonne, Derrick Bayonne, Jared Bayonne, John Bayonne Jr., Quentin Bayonne, and Ronald Bayonne II. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson Coutee, Jr., Clyde Masson, III, John “Rocky” Coutee, Patrick Masson, Harold Bayonne, and William Masson. The cross bearers will be Josephine Coutee.
The family of Ednest Bayonne would like to gratefully express their sincere appreciation for your acts of love shown during the illness of our loved one. We thank you for the calls of comfort, gifts, visits of concern and prayers for strength. We the family humbly thank you for your generosity which helped comfort us and encouraged us in our time of need.
