Guy Patrick Bananno

A Christian wake service for Guy Patrick Bananno will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Fr. John Pardue officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Guy Bananno, 50 years of age, passed away December 14, 2014. He was born August 21, 1964 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Powhatan, LA. He loved his children and encouraged their relationship with the Lord. Guy was an artistic barber and hair stylist. He won first place in the National Hair Styling Competition in 1991. He loved to fish and spend his time outdoors. Guy loved to cook, loved people, and loved the country. He would help anyone in any way that he could, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Noel Bananno and Sicily Bananno; two brothers, Phillip Bananno and his wife Dottie and Joe Bananno, III and his wife Joy; two sisters, Jo Marie Bananno Towns and Katie Bananno Johnson; and one granddaughter, Ryliegh Bananno. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bananno, II and Francis Pitslata Bananno; his grandson, Michael Patrick Bananno; and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Josephine Bananno; and his maternal grandparents Phillip and Katie Pitslato.
