Steve Larry Federick

A service to celebrate the life of Steve Larry Federick will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Christian Harmony Baptist Church in Trichell Community, LA. Interment will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery in St. Maurice, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm on Friday, January 9, 2015 until service time on Saturday at Christian Harmony Baptist Church in Trichell Community, LA. Steve Federick, 69 years of age, passed away January 7, 2015. He was born December 15, 1945 in Natchitoches, LA. He was an honest, generous, and hard working man. Steve loved to hunt and fish, and spent as much time outdoors as he could. He would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it, and never faltered if you needed his help. He loved watching sports and was a wonderful friend. He was a great father, grandfather, and brother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Pam Federick of Cutoff, LA, Tammy Breaux and husband Scotty of New Orleans, LA, and Dusty Federick of Shreveport, LA; one son, Steven Federick and wife Brandy of Savannah, GA; eight grandchildren, Timmy, Gabriella, Anastasia, Mark, Vance, Kayson, Jaxon, and Presley; two great grandchildren, Alexis and Alyissa; two sisters, Barbara Federick of New Orleans, LA and Sue Barnett and her husband Greylen of Goldonna, LA; and his partner in life, Sandra Kay Cook of Natchitoches, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcom Federick and Mildred Desadier Federick; his wife, Jeanie Federick; and two brothers, Wayne Federick and Ronald Federick.
