Jeff Guilliams, Jr.

February 26, 1955 — January 16, 2015

Funeral services for Jefferson Oliver “Jeff” Guilliams, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Stanley Clemmons officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on January 20, 2015 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Jeff, 59 years of age, was born February 26, 1955 in Jonesboro, Louisiana. He was a wonderful son, a loving father, a kind, gentle, caring and giving man, and he loved animals. As a small boy he had a cat named “Whiskers” and a dog named “Shorty.” He never went to bed without them. He loved playing softball on Team Guilliams Electric with brothers Mike and Rusty, and “Dad Jeff Sr..” What a Team! He was an excellent electrician and a “Jack of all Trades.” He always fixed what was broken, and had a green thumb when it came to plants. He loved watching LSU football and listening to the radio commentary with his son, Jesse. He was a collector, keeping and fixing many things that he came across in life. He loved music, and would much rather listen to the radio opposed to watching television. He will be greatly missed by family and close friends, as he rests in peace with Jesus. He is survived by his son, Jesse Guilliams of Natchitoches, LA; his parents, Jeff Guilliams, Sr. and Jeanette Barbo Guilliams; his two brothers, Rusty Guilliams, and Mike Guilliams and his wife Rhonda, all of Natchitoches, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Elizabeth Guilliams Wheat.
