Ellen Freeman, 48 years of age, was born February 6, 1966 Shreveport, LA, and passed away January 20, 2015. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and a loving wife of thirty-three years. She was a selfless woman who always had the needs of others as her first priority. She was always generous and giving. She was a person who refused to see someone do without. A person who would give you the shirt off of her back if she thought you needed it. She was always someone you could talk to and go to be a confidant in times of need. She was a funny person who always loved a good joke. She was strong willed and knew her mind. And would tell you exactly how she felt if you were to ask.
She was an avid fisherman who was the only one with the patience to find the good fishing spots. She also loved to go deer hunting. And in her family of three sons and a husband she was the one to bring home the biggest deer ever. When she was younger she loved to play softball. Later she coached and rooted on her sons while they played baseball.
She was a woman with a strong love for Jesus. She always tried to share that love with anyone who would listen. She always tried to witness and spread the truth of Jesus Christ. She was passionate about her faith and loved to sing and compose her own gospel songs. She was always a person you knew would be praying for you. Lord knows we love our moma.
