Ann Edwards, 74 years of age, passed away January 22, 2015. She was born November 19, 1940 in Provencal, LA. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Natchitoches Parish. She loved God and her church, New Life Evangelism Center in Natchitoches, where worked diligently for the last 40 years. She was an expert at making meat pies, and spent many days doing so to raise money for her church. She made and sold lunches, meat pies, pizzas, peanut brittle, cakes, and anything else anyone requested of her. She loved to babysit her grandchildren and anyone else's children if they ever needed help. Ann was a Sunday School teacher for the nursery and toddler class for many years. At her home, she always had an "Open Door" policy. Anyone was welcome to come, eat, sleep, do laundry, or whatever they needed at the time. She had a huge heart, and wouldn't let anyone go without food or anything else they needed. To those who knew her, she was a faithful and loyal friend. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her, but "Ninja Granny" will be missed by those who loved her most.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Bo" Edwards of Natchitoches, LA; her daughters, Patrice Kendrick of Shreveport, LA, Carolyn Davis and husband Rev. Glynn of Rockwall, TX, and Donna Crawford of Natchitoches, LA; her sons, Ernest "Boogie" Edwards and wife Cindy of Natchitoches, LA and Vincent Edwards and wife Rhonda of Campti, LA; six grandchildren, Brenton Edwards and wife Aimee, Amanda Corley and husband Dustin, Celeste Biddy and husband Reps, Megan Colston and husband Jackie, Nick Edwards and wife Courtney, and Chelsea May and her husband Jarid; nine great grandchildren, Jessalinn Edwards, Deshawn Corley, Devon Corley, Kaleb Edwards, Chase Edwards, Cameron Edwards, Jace Biddy, Gabby Edwards, and Andrew Edwards; and three brothers, Carson Moss, Walter Moss, and George Moss.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leola Stutts; her father, Doss Moss; and three brothers, Raymond Moss, Haywood Moss, Clifford Ray Moss, and Eugene Moss.
